To keep the battery charged, both electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles require an EV charger, just like any other electrical equipment.

A traditional EV charger draws electricity from a 240v outlet or the grid it's hooked to and delivers it to the car, just like any other appliance or item you charge by plugging it into a wall outlet. The car is then left to charge until it’s full.

Using mobile EV charging, the vehicle is charged for 15 minutes, which should be sufficient to reach a charging station.
